I was just at your website and it looks like things are going great! Kairos is definitely doing some exciting stuff...This is definitely the most encouraging thing I have seen in the Church of Christ in a long time. Planting is our future, I believe, and it sounds like Kairos is gaining momentum. 

I wanted to let you know how touched and inspired I was to see God's grace extending to, and working in, downtown Portland through Agape!!  It is so awesome that people from all walks of life can feel comfortable in a church service--you guys are doing an excellent job! I am also grateful that you all are comfortable working with so many different types of people b/c it helps me to be more comfortable too. I have never voluntarily spoken to a homeless person before this morning (I don't think). It is important to overcome that hurdle and you guys are leading many of us in this charge.  I think this is what Christ would expect his church to look like in the 21st century!!

My friend and I visited the church that you serve last sunday. I just wanted to say thank you for having us. We had to leave early, but I wanted to say that what struck me most about our visit was how economically diverse the community is and how beautiful that was to observe. I saw economic differences being overcome by the power of the gospel of Jesus. I can imagine there are continual hurdles and struggles to following this path, yet I want you to know that I saw glimpses of community in the way everyone interacted with each other. May God continue to work out his desired will for the church he is forming and may your leadership and community continually be defined by his Agape love.
