Marc and Elissa Andresen met while in college and a part of the campus ministry at Oregon State University. They were married in August of 2006 on Elissa’s birthday! After serving as an intern under Wilson Parrish at the University Christian Center at OSU, Marc and Elissa were called to Japan. They initially went for a 6 week mission trip with Let’s Start Talking, and then decided to stay for a year and few months past that to help the church in Tomobe, Japan. While in Japan they taught Bible-English classes to people of all ages. Once a week Marc had the opportunity to help with the campus ministry at Ibaraki Christian University where he had one-on-one English classes with many college students. They first child, Caeden, was born in Japan on September 11, 2008. Currently they serve as campus ministers at Agape Church.
